I think your thoughts on work ethic are spot on, but I think part of the issue is we live in an “instant” society. We don’t have to wait for a letter in the mail, we can text. I get frustrated waiting for the microwave. I’ve seen a lot of catch phrases and new trends come and go n education. I think our talk of “Growth Mindset” has to remain in the schools. We see some of the same things at the elementary are what you see at the high school.
